Company Overview: Our client is a Fintech group based in Limassol, with extensive knowledge in payments processing.
About the Role: The Business Intelligence Analyst will be a key member of the Operations team, working closely with various departments to develop impactful reports and insights from data. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for data analytics, enjoys working autonomously, excels in building dashboards, and is adept at communicating with diverse stakeholders to identify and solve problems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Data modelling and analysis of key concepts, KPIs and patterns using SQL.
Knowledge of data storage such as SQL Server skills including SQL objects development, performance tuning, data analysis and integration.
Work independently on end-to-end analytical projects such as data analysis, deep dives, data modelling, dashboarding and reporting.
Perform end-to-end operation checks and validation.
Generate reports to various departments on an ad-hoc and regular basis.
Data extraction from various data sources, analysis, and presentation in BI Tool (Apache Superset).
Bottom-up research: Analyse conversion conversion funnels, feature impact, fraud trends, evaluate new data sources and detect data patterns.
Help on the enhancement of the systems , by reducing the false positives and improving the KPIs through analytics and reporting.
Design and develop repeatable exception reporting from various source system outputs or data warehouse tables, with a key focus on automation opportunities.
Provide management and a wide range of teams with insights and a deep understanding of various areas.
Analysing and re-organizing processing data to achieve consistent analysis and measurement.
Ability to think critically when leading projects and take an initiative approach.
Plan, implement, and analyse A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new product features against KPIs.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions.
Ability to understand the part coding can play in the BI space to generate reports and processes.
Ensure data accuracy by auditing and identifying inconsistencies.
Help build the data mapping of the organization and maintain it at all times.

Qualifications / Requirements:
B.Sc - Math, Statistics, Computers science, Data Science, Engineering/Economics, or similar.
At least 2 years of work experience in a high-tech/finance/intelligence unit (or similar).
Technical background/experience is must.
Proven experience in a data-driven role using SQL with large data sets.
Previous experience in the payments industry will be considered a strong advantage.
Good knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio/Looker, Big query, Power BI, Tableau, Apache Superset or similar tools
Attention to detail when working with data to ensure accuracy and quality.
Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
