Position: Finance Manager
Location: Nicosia
Job Type: Full-Time - Hybrid (1 day from home)
About the Role:
The role comprises a range of financial and accounting activities, which enable the production of management reports, annual financial statements as well as the annual audits. The Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing regular reporting packs with appropriate analysis and supporting documentation to enable senior management to have a clear understanding and overview of Company performance. Additional responsibilities include managing payments and internal financial controls.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Key member of the management team responsible for all aspects of the accounting department.
Preparing financial statements and management accounts.
Preparing reports on company performance for company directors and shareholders.
Monitoring cash flow to ensure that bills are paid on time and making arrangements of payments to suppliers.
Reviewing financial records, contracts, and other documentation to determine accuracy and completeness of data.
Conducting research to identify new accounting methods or procedures which could improve efficiency or effectiveness of operations.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with external auditors, attorneys and other external parties such as customers or suppliers.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Qualified as ACA/ACCA/CPA
3-5 years of experience in financial services industry (preferably big4) is a must
Experience in the energy sector will be considered an advantage
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong computer literacy
Excellent knowledge of English language
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
