Position: Junior Accountant

We are now hiring a Junior Accountant on their behalf, to join their expanding team.
About the role: The successful candidate doesn’t necessarily need to have previous experience in Accounting, however we are looking for a team player eager to succeed in the Financial industry and the enthusiasm to learn and pursue an ACCA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Bookeeping and recording of transactions in the accounting system.
Prepare VIES and VAT returns.
Other relevant duties as assigned by supervisors and management.
Qualifications / Requirements:
LCCI or equivalent.
University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other relevant field is preferred but not a must.
Knowledge of E-Soft accounting software will be considered an advantage.
Basic knowledge of VAT will be considered an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language (verbal and written).
Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Initial Salary €1,200 gross per month with annual salary reviews.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30 to 17:30 and Fridays afternoon off (8:30 to 14:30)
4-day week during summer months June/July/August.
