On behalf of our client, a well-established international firm specializing in audit, accounting, Vat and Tax services, we are seeking to recruit 2 Accountants (1 Senior and 1 Junior) to join their continuously expanding team in Nicosia.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily bookkeeping and record transactions on the accounting system for both local and international clients.
• Perform monthly bank and other reconciliations.
• Preparation of VAT/VIES registrations and de-registrations for clients.
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly reports.
• Liaising with managerial staff and clients.
• Support the rest of the accounting team and perform any other accounting duties assigned by the Management Team.

CANDIDATE PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACA / ACCA partly or newly qualified, will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent command of the English and Greek languages, both written and spoken.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Conversant with standard software packages, excellent knowledge of MS-Office suite and be ready to learn company-specific software if required.
• Readiness to acquire new knowledge and develop.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good multitasking and organizational skills.
• Dynamic, pleasant and self-motivated character.
