About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated recent graduate in Computer Science/IT degree. Ideally we are looking for someone with 0 up to 2 years of experience in Database Administration and PostgreSQL. The successful hire will gain valuable hands-on experience in PostgreSQL databases and database management.
Responsibilities
Learn and assist in the management of PostgreSQL databases.
Work closely with the senior database administrators to ensure the optimal performance and security of our databases.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.
Participate in database design and optimization activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address data-related needs.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science/IT or a related field.
0-2 years of professional experience in database management.
Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational database management systems.
Basic knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Location
The position will be based in Larnaca, with opportunities for international travel. Candidates should be willing and able to travel abroad as required.
Benefits
Salary €1500 - 2000 Depending on experience in Database Management and PostgreSQL.
